Laddu are a delightful Indian confection that has been enjoyed for centuries. Originally a medicinal concoction, laddus eventually became a symbol of joy and happiness served at weddings and the birth of boys (but not of girls). One of India’s most favored sweet snacks, they usually contain various nuts, flour, dried fruits, and coconut flakes.
